DutyLock is provided by Xadrez Inverso LDA, operating as FATFIRE Apps ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how DutyLock handles information when you use the app.
DutyLock is designed to keep your data on your device. We do not require an account, do not operate a cloud sync service for your app data, and do not sell personal data.
DutyLock stores app data locally on your device using iOS on-device storage, including UserDefaults, Keychain, and local files where appropriate. This may include:
This data is not uploaded to us. Reports are only shared if you choose to export or send them yourself using iOS sharing features.
DutyLock may request iOS permissions for features such as location-based locks, Bluetooth-based locks, vehicle mode, notifications, and Screen Time controls. These permissions are used to make locks work on your device.
We do not receive your precise location, WiFi network names, Bluetooth device details, motion history, Screen Time selections, or blocked-app list. Those details stay on your device.
DutyLock does not track your behavior across apps or websites. DutyLock does not use advertising identifiers and does not sell or share your personal data for advertising.
DutyLock does not send your zones, lock history, location history, WiFi data, Bluetooth data, motion data, blocked-app selections, or report contents to analytics services.
If you purchase a subscription or lifetime unlock, payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment card details, Apple ID password, or full Apple account information.
DutyLock may use a purchase-management service, RevenueCat, to validate entitlement status. RevenueCat receives limited purchase and entitlement data needed to determine whether premium features are active. Your lock zones, lock history, reports, location data, WiFi data, Bluetooth data, and blocked app selections are not sent to RevenueCat.
DutyLock may use local notifications for reminders or lock-related alerts. These notifications are scheduled on your device. You can change notification permissions in iOS Settings.
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, reset the app, or uninstall the app. Some Keychain items may persist across reinstall because DutyLock uses Keychain persistence to make lock-state tampering harder.
You can remove app data by using any in-app reset controls provided by DutyLock or by deleting the app. If a Keychain-backed lock state remains after reinstall, this is part of DutyLock's tamper-resistant design.
DutyLock is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
DutyLock relies on Apple's on-device security features, including device encryption and Keychain protection. No security system is perfect, but the app is designed to minimize remote data exposure by keeping user data local.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and make the revised policy available through the app or our public policy URL.
