These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the DutyLock mobile application ("the App") provided by Xadrez Inverso LDA, operating as FATFIRE Apps ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using DutyLock, you agree to these Terms.
DutyLock is a personal productivity and self-control tool for creating device-based lock zones and tamper-evident lock history. The App may use iOS features such as Screen Time controls, location permissions, Bluetooth, WiFi state, motion signals, local notifications, Keychain, and on-device storage.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use DutyLock on Apple devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's applicable terms.
You agree that you will:
DutyLock is designed to make bypassing harder, but no app can guarantee that every distraction, app, website, device state, or operating-system behavior will be blocked in every situation. iOS permissions, Screen Time behavior, device settings, connectivity, battery state, Apple platform changes, and user actions can affect lock behavior.
You are responsible for deciding whether DutyLock is appropriate for your situation and for keeping alternative access available when needed.
DutyLock may offer auto-renewable subscriptions and/or a lifetime purchase for premium features. Prices, durations, trial availability, and included features are shown in the App Store or in the purchase screen before you buy.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
Refund requests are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies.
DutyLock is designed so your zones, lock history, reports, and trigger data stay on your device. Please review our Privacy Policy for details.
You retain ownership of lock reports, exported files, and other content you create with DutyLock. If you export or share a report, you are responsible for where you send it and who can access it.
DutyLock, including its design, code, text, graphics, and other materials, is owned by Xadrez Inverso LDA or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the App to you.
DutyLock is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device configuration or future iOS version.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xadrez Inverso LDA will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of or inability to use DutyLock.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to DutyLock will not exceed the amount you paid for DutyLock in the twelve months before the claim.
You may stop using DutyLock at any time by deleting the App. We may suspend or terminate access to premium services if required by law, platform rules, or payment status.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict of law principles. Courts in Portugal will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and make the revised Terms available through the app or our public policy URL.
